Terms of use

Plain terms for a free app. The parts worth reading before you rely on Relo are reminders are not guarantees and backups are yours to keep.

Effective 22 October 2026 · applies to the Relo Android app (app.relo.tracker) and to relo.tinyapps.me

1. These terms

This is an agreement between you and TinyApps, the maker of Relo. Using the app or this website means you accept it. If you do not, please do not use them. If you are using Relo for an employer, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. What Relo costs

Nothing. Relo is free, with no advertising, no subscription and no limit on how many items you track. There is no trial that expires and no feature held back behind a payment. If that ever changes, anything you have already recorded stays readable and exportable.

3. Your records are yours

You keep every right in what you put into Relo: your products, dates, notes, photos, receipts and documents. We claim no licence over them. We do not sell or share them, and in the current release we do not even receive them, because they never leave your device. See the privacy policy for the detail.

4. Reminders are a prompt, not a guarantee

This is the most important clause here, so it is stated plainly rather than buried. Relo schedules reminders through Android on your own device. Whether one actually arrives depends on things outside our control: your notification settings, battery optimisation and Doze, manufacturer power management, the device being switched off, the clock and time zone, and the operating system's own decisions about deferring work.

So treat a Relo reminder as a helpful nudge, not as a legal or financial safeguard. Do not rely on it alone for a warranty claim deadline, an insurance renewal, a visa or licence expiry, a medication date, or anything else where missing the date costs you. Check important deadlines yourself. We are not liable for a missed deadline, a lapsed warranty or a rejected claim.

5. Backups are your responsibility

Because Relo stores your records on your device and not on our servers, we cannot recover them. If the phone is lost, reset, damaged, or the app is uninstalled or its storage cleared, the data goes with it. The export in Settings exists for exactly this reason, and it is the only thing that can move your records to a new phone. Keep the file somewhere you will still have it later.

Keep in mind too that an exported backup is an unencrypted file containing your records. Treat it like any other personal document.

6. Accounts

An account is optional; Relo works fully without one. If you create one: give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think it has been used by someone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 13 or older to create one.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, then Account. We may suspend or remove an account that is being used to attack the service or to break the law, and will tell you why where we can.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Relo to break the law, or to store material you have no right to store;
  • attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
  • probe, overload or disrupt the service, or circumvent its rate limits;
  • resell or redistribute the app as your own, or remove its notices;
  • scrape this website in a way that degrades it for other people.

Examining the app for your own interest, or reporting a security problem to us in good faith, is welcome and is not a breach of this clause.

8. Our rights in the app

The Relo app, this website, the name and the logo belong to TinyApps. You get a personal, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control, for your own purposes. Nothing here transfers ownership.

9. Third parties

Relo is distributed through Google Play, whose own terms apply to the download and to anything Google collects. The app is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any manufacturer, retailer or brand whose products you record in it, and brand names you type in are yours, used only to label your own records.

10. Availability and changes

Relo is provided as it is, with no promise of uninterrupted availability. The account service may be offline for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control, and the app keeps working offline when it is. Features may be added, changed or removed between releases. The core promises on this site, unlimited tracking, no advertisements, and offline access to your own records, are ones we intend to keep.

11. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, Relo is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits, and nothing here removes rights your local consumer law gives you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TinyApps is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost data or lost profit, or for a deadline missed because a reminder did not arrive. Because Relo is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you have paid us for it, which is nothing, or fifty euros.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and a material change will be announced in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Relo after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, stop using the app and, if you wish, delete your account.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where TinyApps is established, without affecting the protections you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence. We would much rather sort out a problem by email than in a court, so please write to us first.
